The 5-Day Journey Breakdown
Day 1: Madurai Arrival & Meenakshi Temple Evening Darshan
Chauffeur Kumar welcomed the family at Madurai Airport terminal exit with a personalized nameboard. After check-in and lunch at their hotel, Kumar coordinated a smooth battery-car transfer near the temple entrance for grandmother, allowing her to complete the sanctum darshan without fatigue.
Day 2: Madurai to Rameshwaram via Pamban Bridge
Early morning drive on NH 87 with a breakfast stop at Ramanathapuram for fresh idlis. Stopped at the Pamban Sea Bridge view deck for photos. In Rameshwaram, Kumar guided the family directly to Agni Theertham and organized their 22 theerthams ticket entry.
Day 3: Dhanushkodi Land's End & Drive to Kanyakumari
Early 07:00 AM drive right to Arichal Munai where the two oceans meet, followed by a visit to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial. Proceeded southwest through Tirunelveli (stopping for famous hot halwa) to reach Kanyakumari by 04:45 PM just in time for the Triveni Sangam sunset.
Day 4: Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Suchindram Temple
Watched the 06:15 AM sunrise directly from the coastal promenade. Took the 08:30 AM ferry to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and walked the new glass walkway. Afternoon visit to Suchindram Thanumalayan Temple to hear the musical stone pillars.
Day 5: Return to Madurai & Flight Home
Smooth 4-hour return drive to Madurai along the 4-lane NH 44. Stopped in Madurai city for handloom Sungudi saree shopping and dropped at Madurai Airport 2.5 hours prior to their flight to Delhi.
