Transparent policies governing tour package bookings, chauffeur cab rentals, cancellation guidelines, and passenger safety.

1. Introduction & Agreement

Welcome to Rithish Tours & Travels ("we," "our," or "us"), based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. By requesting a tour quotation, booking a cab or vehicle package, reserving hotels or transfers, or utilizing our website (rithishtoursandtravels.in), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply equally to bookings initiated online, over phone calls (+91 97902 46008), via WhatsApp, or through email.

2. Quotations, Pricing & Inclusions

  • Upfront Pricing: All customized itineraries and taxi tariffs are quoted transparently based on vehicle category, travel duration, expected mileage, and specified destinations.
  • Standard Cab Inclusions: Unless otherwise stated in your quotation, tourist cab bookings include vehicle rental, experienced chauffeur services, fuel, and driver daily bata/allowance.
  • Tolls, Parking & State Taxes: Highway toll charges, destination parking fees, and interstate permit taxes (when crossing state boundaries into Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, etc.) are specified in the trip quotation.
  • Monument & Temple Darshan Tickets: Temple darshan tickets (e.g., TTD Tirupati darshan tickets, special pooja fees), boating fees, and monument entrance fees are not included unless explicitly bundled in a customized all-inclusive itinerary.

3. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment

To confirm a multi-day holiday package, outstation tour circuit, or high-demand tourist vehicle (such as Innova Crysta or Tempo Traveller during peak pilgrimage or festival seasons), a nominal advance token deposit is required.

Payment methods accepted include UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Bank IMPS/NEFT transfer, and Cash. The balance trip amount is payable upon commencement or during the journey as agreed at the time of confirmation.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund terms vary by booking and will be confirmed at the time of booking. We recognize that personal plans, train schedules, and flight connections can change unexpectedly. General guidelines include:

  • More than 72 Hours Prior to Departure: 100% refund of advance deposit (less any non-refundable third-party hotel or permit cancellation charges already incurred).
  • Between 24 to 72 Hours Prior to Departure: 50% refund of advance deposit, or option to reschedule travel dates within 60 days without penalty subject to vehicle availability.
  • Less than 24 Hours or Same-Day No-Show: Advance deposit is non-refundable, as vehicles and drivers are reserved exclusively for your itinerary.
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be credited back via original payment mode within 3 to 5 business days.

5. Vehicle Usage & Route Pacing

  • Chauffeur Safety & Rest: For guest safety, long-distance night driving through mountain ghat roads (e.g., Kodaikanal, Ooty, Munnar) is avoided after 9:00 PM in adherence to local forest department regulations.
  • Luggage Capacity: Guests are requested to select vehicles commensurate with passenger count and luggage volumes (Sedan: 2-3 bags; Innova: 4-5 bags; Tempo Traveller: large luggage capacity).
  • Passenger Conduct: Smoking, consumption of alcohol inside commercial tourist vehicles, or carrying contraband materials is strictly prohibited under Indian Motor Vehicles regulations.

6. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Delays

Rithish Tours & Travels shall not be held liable for delays, missed flight/train connections, or itinerary alterations caused by natural calamities, severe weather, landslides on ghat routes, road closures, political bandhs, or temple darshan queue congestion beyond our operational control. Our chauffeurs and 24/7 travel desk will always assist with alternative routes and optimal solutions.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of or related to our travel services or these terms shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
